2025 Bentley Continental teased – 1000Nm of torque incoming

Bentley has been teasing us with images and engine details of the 2025 Bentley Continental ahead of its unveiling this June.

Gone is the 12-cylinder W12 and in its place is a plug-in hybrid V8 engine that boasts a combined output of 575kW of power and 1000Nm of torque, making it one of the most explosive options in the segment.

According to Bentley, it will be able to travel around 80 km on a fully charged battery and will emit less than 50 g/km of CO2.

While the British brand hasn’t confirmed the battery size, they have confirmed that it will be a 48V system (probably supporting jump-start functions) and will come with features such as four-wheel steering, dual-valve dampers, a limited-slip differential , torque vectoring and all-wheel drive.

The brand has also not confirmed the weight reduction, but expect the weight to increase given all the additional components required to offer 80km of range.

The new Continental it is expected to be fully revealed in June, with a production start date still unknown.
